Ellen is a Melbourne artist exhibiting in Melbourne, New South Wales and Canberra. Predominantly self-taught, she expanded her knowledge working with artists such as Stanley Wong and Zsu Zsi Hartman, attending Master Classes with Godwin Bradbeer and other short courses and workshops.

Her repertoire incorporates a variety of styles and media, including the series of watercolour landscapes painted on a six-month sojourn in France. Her passion is for life drawing and exploring the variety of expressions offered by the female form. Cats and other animals also capture her imagination. Her work is subtle and delicate, often capturing movement with a few lines.

Her most recent exhibition was a series of burlesque drawings in conjunction with the stage production Nine at Chapel off Chapel.
